These traditional cow heads have been meticulously designed in a freehand style, using a brilliant mix of Folk and Tanjore art techniques. Placing a cow's likness in one's house is considered extremely auspicious due to its significance as the holiest of all animals.

At its crux, the art has a hand-painted Tanjore style image of Lord Balaji, revered as the harbinger of all good fortunes and granter of all wishes. It has exhaustive detailing on the ornaments, created using the 'dots technique' style, prevalent in most Tanjore paintings.

  • An ode to the Deccan art form, the lotus motifs lovingly painted at the sides represent spiritual enlightenment, growth, purity, and birth, thus considered by many as heralding good luck.
  • The sculpture, made of pure Mango wood, is hand-carved in traditional Southern Indian Styles.
  • The carvings on the forehead and the horns have been painted in Deccan artworks in vibrant colours and Gold motifs, lending it a genuinely enigmatic look.
  • There are two shades currently available in minimal quantities - Indian Saffron Yellow and Indian parrot Green
  • Each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind.
  • This uniqueness lends each piece a complex character that can never be found in mass-produced products.
  • The irregularity and free-flowing design give it an unmatched identity.
  • A real 'conversation starter,' your guests and family will not only be awed but also be inspired by your very own unique taste in traditional art.
